DAY TO DAY ITINERARY
DAY 1:
Arrival and Sabi Sands Private Game Reserve – Welcome to South Africa and the Lowveld! Your Honeymoon Adventure starts with your arrival at Kruger Mpumalanga International Airport from where you will be met by your guide and transferred to Sabi Sands Private Game reserve where you will spend four amazing nights.
On arrival you will be received by the wonderful reception staff of the lodge and be shown to your honeymoon suite which will be your home for the next few days. After freshening up you will enjoy a light lunch and afterwards get ready for your first exhilarating game drive in Africa, led by an experienced field guide and tracker.
Sabi Sands Private Game Reserve is a 65 000 hectare private conservancy that is open to the Kruger National Park, allowing game to move freely between the two. The reserve offers some of the best game watching in Africa and sightings of Africa’s Big 5 is something to look forward to. Game Drives are conducted in open safari vehicles which gives you the perfect vantage point for the best game watching!
Your daily schedule includes two game drives (morning and afternoon) as well as a bush walk should this be of interest to you. Other highlights tailor-made for your honeymoon include private dinners, champagne bush breakfasts, massages and other bush surprises making your honeymoon an unforgettable experience.
DAY 5-9:
Flight to Johannesburg and onwards to Mauritius – This morning after your last game drive you will be transferred to Kruger Mpumalanga International Airport where the next part of you Honeymoon Adventure starts. Your flight to Mauritius departs late afternoon with an evening arrival at Sir Seewoosagur Ramgoolam International Airport in the southeast of Mauritius.
On arrival at the airport, you will be whisked away to your resort by an air-conditioned private transfer. You will arrive in time for a light dinner and you will be shown to your beautiful honeymoon suite, your home for the next 5 nights.
Your time on the island of Mauritius is completely flexible. You can be as active or relaxed as you want to be. You can look forward to some extra spoils during your time here, such as sparkling wine on arrival in your room, massages and complimentary beach lunches. Depending on the resort you are staying at additional activities can be added according to your interests eg Watersports, Boat Cruises, Hiking, Cooking Classes etc.
Your days will be filled with relaxing, enjoying romance and intimacy and creating new precious memories together.
DAY 10:
Departure – This morning after enjoying your last island breakfast you will be transferred back to the airport for your flight back to Johannesburg. Your wonderful honeymoon adventure ends at the airport in Johannesburg.
