Southern Africa’s famous ‘Four Corners’, where four countries (Botswana, Namibia, Zambia and Zimbabwe) meet, is situated right in the middle of some of the region’s most spectacular attractions. It is a short hop away from some very impressive wildlife reserves, as well as being close to several UNESCO World Heritage Sites.
We have combined two of the top, must-see attractions in the area into this 16-day safari. They are the Victoria Falls in Zimbabwe and Chobe National Park nearby in Botswana. Victoria Falls, known to locals as ‘The Smoke That Thunders’, is one of the seven natural wonders of the world and a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The sheer power of this massive body of water plunging into the Zambezi gorge is awe-inspiring and unforgettable.
Chobe National Park is a true wildlife paradise and definitely one of the best national parks in Africa. Chobe is classic big game country where herds of African Buffalo and African Elephant attain legendary proportions. In fact, Chobe is fondly known as “Land of the Giants” due to its huge African Elephant population. The park also offers great Lion and Leopard sightings, while the river has an unbelievable abundance of other animals and fantastic birds.
This short safari can be done as a standalone tour, but is actually perfect as an extension to add onto our other safaris in the area. We suggest Etosha National Park, the Caprivi Strip, Mana Pools National Park, Lake Kariba, an additional night or two in Victoria Falls, and much more.
